Abstract | The Securities and Futures Commission announced that it had released guidelines to the market on unit trust and mutual fund advertising. The guidelines, which apply to paid media advertisements as well as other marketing materials, are intended for the assistance of issuers of advertisements in relation to collective investment schemes authorized by the SFC. The general principle behind the guidelines is that no advertisement which is false, biased, misleading or deceptive be made to the public in Hong Kong. |
