| Abstract | The Securities and Futures Commission ("SFC") announced that it has concluded an investigation of Morgan Stanley Asia Limited ("MSAL"), a registered securities dealer. The investigation covered the period from February 1993 to April 1994. The Commission noted that it is the responsibility of a registered intermediary to ensure that its staff are properly registered and to ensure that its business is operated in accordance with regulatory requirements which include the proper, and timely, registration of staff. |
