| Abstract | The spectacular row between China and the United States over intellectual property issues finally ended with a compromise reached at the last minute. While it lasted, however, world attention was focused on these intellectual property issues which were the subject of the two countries dispute. Although the Chinese made global concessions, these were due largely to the economic sanctions threatened by the Americans, rather than any real voluntary action, and many of these concessions were not considered by the Chinese to be necesseraly reasonable or fair. |
