Abstract | It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good. When the exhibition Miro: Spirit of the Orient began its grand tour of the Far East, it was billed to go first to China and then Japan. However, alarmed both by the danger of earthquakes and sinister gas attacks in the Tokyo subway, the public Municipal Foundation of Pilar and Joan Miro in Majorca, Spain, which owns the artworks, decided to reroute the exhibition. Japan's loss became Hongkong's gain. |
