| Abstract | Wellcome, as one of the largest supermarket chains in Hong Kong, has been instrumental in introducing the use of EDI with their trading partners to improve productivity and cut costs. In 1992, Wellcome has participated in the EDI pilot test which was conducted by the Hong Kong Retail Management Association. The test involved several major suppliers including Nestle Dairy Farm, A.S. Watson's, and Swire Bottlers to experiment on the use of EDI for regular trade. |
