AbstractWithin less than two decades, under the pressure of labour-market requirements brought about by the opening of China and the structural transformation of the territory's economy (industrial jobs nowadays account only for 20% of the labour force), Hong Kong has been able to react and to establish and render fully operational the educational and training structures necessary to further its success.
