| Abstract | An interim aviation fuel receiving facility (AFRF) will be built close to the site of the new airport and the Provisional Airport Authority is ensuring it will be constructed and operated in a way which minimises possible environmental impact. The Authority is also working closely with the Hong Kong Government to help develop and fund a 1,000-hectare marine sanctuary and artificial reef programme near the Sha Chau and Lung Kwu Chau Islands, close to the AFRF. |
