| Abstract | What's the difference between a sales manager from China and a sales manager from Hong Kong? According to a recent study, if there's one thing mainland sales managers need it's training. Sandra Liu, a lecturer at the School of Business, Hong Kong Baptist University, compared the value systems of sales managers from Hong Kong and China and what she has found could not fail to be of interest, particularly to multinationals with sales forces on the mainland. Whilst the results from this report precede a broader and more expansive survey, they nonetheless expose a number of fundamental differences between the two groups. |
