| Abstract | In August, the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong published the Report on Reform of the Law Relating to the Protection of Personal Data. This is a regulatory framework governing the use of personal data and recommendations as to how data, generated through automation such as computers and manually kept should be protected. Law draftsmen are hard at work on the legislation on data protection for Hong Kong. |
