AbstractJob satisfaction has long been studied in nursing as a predictor of staff turnover, absenteeism, and the quality of the care rendered . To provide empirical data for making relevant policy, survey research was designed to measure the job satisfaction of the primary school nurses in Taiwan. The primary school nurses reported a moderate level of job satisfaction. The three strongest factors affecting job satisfaction identified by factor analysis were: family factors, interpersonal relationships and professional satisfaction.
