| Abstract | This summer, China's farm output may increase 2.5 million tonnes from last year's 104 million tonnes. This will bring some timely relief from the continuously rising prices of farm and grocery products. But the likely summer figure may still be 2.1 million tonnes short of repeating 1993's record high. |
