| Abstract | One of Niels Kraunsoe's key tasks as the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Chief Executive for the new Extension to the Hong Kong Conference and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) was persuading anyone who wanted to know that the landmark building would be completed in time to host the ceremonies for the return of the territory to China. The 30 June 1997 deadline was strictly non-negotiable, and this was the man with the overall responsibility for seeing that it was met. An interview to Niels Kraunsoe is reported in this article. |
