| Abstract | Germany will prohibit the production, import and sale of certain azo-dyestuffs in consumer goods from 1995. The ordinance covers all consumer goods intended "not only for temporary contact with the human skin". In particular, Hong Kong's garment exports to Germany (50% of total exports) will be the major affected item. |
