| Abstract | Snow-capped Swiss Alps were the background at the end of January for a global summit of over 2,000 of the world's foremost figures from politics, business, leading universities and the arts. Among them was the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Wang Gungwu, who was invited to attend the prestigious annual World Economic Forum held in Davos from January 26 to 31. |
