| Abstract | The Hong Kong Housing Authority was established on April 1, 1973 under the Housing Ordinance, Chapter 283 of the Laws of Hong Kong. On April 1, 1988, the Authority was reorganised and was given a separate financial identity and autonomy together with sufficient flexibility to effectively and efficiently implement the Government's Long Term Housing Strategy which aims to provide accommodation for all needy families before the end of this century.Entrants for the year 1993-1994 include Fung Tak Estate and Tin Yiu Estate Neighbourhood Shopping Centre. |
