| Abstract | There is little data on the main causes of heart failure in the Chinese living in Hong Kong. A prospective study of all patients admitted with the diagnosis of heart failure to this regional hospital is being undertaken. Standard criteria are used for diagnosis according to clinical, echocardiographic and where appropriate cardiac catheterisation findings. |
