Abstract | Until recently, the tourist provided the most revenue for China's hospitality industry. Today, the inward-bound business traveller brings in the big bucks. Consequently, a whole new range of luxury hotels with excellent business amenities are springing up. Existing hotels are spending their big bucks on renovation plans. Everything from decor to cuisine is taking an uplift and industry observers predict that mainland hotels have but a few years before they can rival their Hong Kong counterparts. |
