| Abstract | The Marina Club development in Discovery Bay opened its doors to members in July of last year. The owners, Hong Kong Resort International Ltd, used the architectural firm Tao Ho for both the building project and the interior decoration. With a site area of 18,850 sq m and a GFA of 863 sq m, the design team, headed up by Dr Tao Ho himself, had an appreciable amount of space to work with. The brief: to create a casual, warm atmopshere which would simultaneously reflect luxury and functionality and would characterise the nature of the development. |
