| Abstract | Banks are flooding the property sector with money after the end of a three year government-imposed restriction on the property financing market. Banks cannot wait to offer incentives like lower interest rates, free gold cards and longer repay-ment periods to drag in more potential customers. Sun Hung Kai Properties' Royal Ascot in Fo Tan, the first luxury residential project to benefit from the relaxation, managed to line up nine banks to provide a mortgage ceiling up to 70 per cent. |
