AbstractMeasures like tightened mortgage-lending and government's task force has implemented, but the outcome is not desirable. In the longer term, a more desirable pattern of price behaviour in the property market can best be achieved by easing the supply bottleneck, through increasing the supply of land and ensuring that it is developed, and properties built are sold, within a reasonably short period.
