| Abstract | As Swiss-Belhotel expands, management face problems which are universal. The main challenge is: where to find the right staff. In China, the task at the Marina Ming Wah in Shekou was solved by distant recruitment. There were simply insufficient skilled staff in the bustling economic zone over the border from Hongkong. So James Tam went recruiting in Lanzhou, the capital of northwestern Gansu province. Later, more staffers were found at Shandong Tourism School in Jinan. |
