| Abstract | For the past couple of weeks the company secretaries of the 15 Chinese H-share enterprises listed here have been visiting our shores. The mainlanders have had exhaustive talks with the stock exchange on the application of listing rules and the role of non-executive directors, they have broken bread with the Hongkong Institute of Company Secretaries (HKICS) and inevitably met with Professor Bob Tricker of the University of Hongkong Business School. The visitors have returned over the border with the words "corporate governance" ringing in their ears. |
