AbstractHong Kong's entrepot trade between the U.S. and China could be reduced by as much as $1 billion if the talks fail, warned Francis Lo, executive director of the local Trade Development Council. Taiwan interests are also at risk, as many of the Chinese factories that would be affected by the new tariffs were financed from Taiwan.
