| Abstract | Consultation-liaison (C-L) psychiatry has aroused world-wide interest as well as controversies in recent years. The preliminary experience of setting up a full-time C-L team at the Prince of Wales Hospital is reported. It is suggested that despite definite theoretical and practical limitations, this has the tripartite potential of improving clinical service, undergraduate and postgraduate education, as well as facilitating collaborative research in psychosomatic medicine. |
