| Abstract | In the matter of the import quotas, for European Commission sources, it is just one more example of Britain working overtime to defend its national interests and to belabour the Commission at the same time. The EU's bilateral textile agreement with China covers MFA products, except those in silk, wool and ramie. These, together with a number of non-textile products, such as toys and footwear, were subject until now to restrictions imposed autonomously by individual EU countries. |
