| Abstract | Trade barriers are inherent where national certificates or national marks of conformity are used as they are in the EC member countries. Each member state currently has its own mark of conformity for electronic goods which is not per se recognised in the other countries. Thus, there is not, in the voluntary field, an Europe-wide accepted mark such as the CE mark in the regulatory field. |
