| Abstract | This paper proposes an alternative airport terminal with remote parallel pier/APM for Hong Kong new airport, and presents a method (and software PPAPM) to determine an optimum geometry for this type of airport terminal under certain constraints. Applications of the proposed method will be given in the context of the Hong Kong new airport at Chek Lap Kok (CLK). |
