| Abstract | On 21 June 1993, in exercise of its powers under section 45 of the SFC Ordinance, the Securities and Futures Commission presented a petition to the High Court seeking the winding up of Pan Pacific Securities Management Ltd ("Pan Pacific"), and sought the appointment of the Official Receiver as provisional liquidator prior to the winding up order being made. Pan Pacific is an investment adviser registered under the Securities Ordinance. |
