| Abstract | It must have seemed a daunting prospect at the outset; to create a nursery from what had been designated a refuse area at the base of a multi-storey housing tower in Hau Tak Estate. Added to that, the space had to dual as a church for Sunday worship and other functions required by the religious community. Yet that was the space available to the Association of Evangelical Free Churches of Hong Kong (EFCC) and they were keen that religious worship as well as nursery facilities should be available to serve the community right from Tseung Kwang O's beginnings. |
