| Abstract | Software protection in Hong Kong meets the standards of the model laws, but it cannot be said that the law has kept abreast with new developments of the technology. This is not surprising as software protection in Hong Kong is achieved merely by extending the UK Copyright Act 1956 to include computer programs as literary works. |
