| Abstract | The purpose of this paper is to outline an approach to the teaching of geography in the secondary school. It also provides a practical illustration of how the approach can be used in the classroom. The focus of this paper is pedagogic but it has the supplementary aim of providing hydrological data which are particularly relevant for the teaching of physical geography in Hong Kong. |
