| Abstract | This study attempts to evaluate the effectiveness of an organised, structured protocol for diabetic care in the local setting by comparing (i) the patient's level of knowledge of the disease, (ii) the physicians' comprehensiveness of screening for complications and (iii) the degree of glycemic control before and after the establishment of a diabetic clinic at the University Health Service of the University of Hong Kong. |
