| Abstract | Professor Chia-wei Woo, Vice-Chancellor and President of the newly-established Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), was invited by Hong Kong Institute of Economic Science (IES) to talk about the controversies surrounding the cost overrun in the construction of HKUST and his visions for this new tertiary institution on 20th Februrary. The function was well attended by IES members. |
