| Abstract | During the 10-week module of Family Medicine, the principles of Family Medicine and management of patients in the community are observed through clinical attachment to family physicians. The family physicians' clinics are easily accessible to patients. Most patients have acute illnesses. Family doctors also contribute to the management of chronic illnesses. The article discusses several case-examples to illustrate an important point: the good doctor-patient relationship provides a distinguished health care that is more than an ordinary service. |
