| Abstract | Robert Chua, a Singapore-born, Australia-educated and Hong Kong-bred television (TV) producer, have launched the China Entertainment Television (CETV). However, with no money and no prospects, CETV was supposed to go dark at the end of February 1998. Forturnately, Chua says he reached a deal with a group of overseas Chinese investors to keep the channel on air through March 1998.
