| Abstract | School Social Work is a school-based service. School social workers work closely with teachers and parents to assist students in solving emotional, learning, family and interpersonal problems. However, the review report of the Hong Kong Government released in 1998 showed that, at present, most of the schools' social worker to student ratio is unable to cope with students' needs. The article features the rationale to improve the service. |
