| Abstract | CYS Associates (Hong Kong) Limited worked one of those dream assignments -- a vast amount of space and a good budget. The project in question is Kwong's Memorial School in Huadu city, just north of Guangzhou in southern China. The city government's brief for the project was for a state-of-the-art school designed to updated national, rather than provincial standards. As said by Kenneth Chau, managing director of CYS, it is why the architectural style is western. There are no Chinese motifs or flavour. CYS tried to be very up-to-date with simple modern lines and architecture. |
