| Abstract | Developing the masterplan for the new airport terminal building was a considerable undertaking. Those responsible had to come up with a concept design that would fit the requirements of the new site at Chek Lap Kok, but would also allow for future expansion. The article features the master plan for Chek Lap Kok Airport terminal which was produced by a consortium led by HOK (Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabuam) International -- one of the world's largest architectural firms. |
