| Abstract | Asia Design Forum 1998 was held in Kuala Lumpur on 13-14 June taking on the task of re-evaluating the path to the future in terms of the region's current economic climate. Professor Leon van Schaik, Dean of the Faculty of the Constructed Environment at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), who chaired the event, reports in the article the meeting which explores the meaning of the new millennium. |
