| Abstract | It was reported in New York on April 3 that the United States (US) Customs were investigating whether Peninsula Knitters Limited had illegally shipped 4 million Chinese-made sweaters to the US the previous year. The investigation forms part of the campaign conducted by the US jointly with the Hong Kong Customs authorities against illicit transshipment en route to the US of textile goods produced in China. |
