| Abstract | The Empire State Run-Up in February 1998 is organised by the new York Road Runners Club, which also oversees the New York Marathon, and is part of a growing vertical marathon circuit. Similar runs are held in Frankfurt, Tokyo, Toronto, Denver, Detroit, San Diego, Moscow and Sydney. There are now plans to stage runs in Paris and London. Closer to home, Hong Kong has an annual race in April, up Jardine House. |
