AbstractLocated on the southern side of the runway, the Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) dedicated to international warehousing, occupies 26,836 square meter and has the capacity to move 480,000 tonnes of cargo per year. Liang Peddle Thorp Architects and Planners Limited (LPT), the architect for the Singaporean consortium -- Singapore Air Terminal Services, Changi International Air services and China Merchants -- Asia Airfreight Terminal Company Limited -- was awarded the HK$700 million project in July 1995. The article features the interior design of the building.
