| Abstract | The south-east corner of the airport platform is most accessible by road, and the first to be seen by rail. It also lies outside the height limits applicable to the remaining platform so that any building on this site is going to have particular presence. There is a natural knoll and a naturalistic sense of place, surprising in an otherwise man-made environment. This is the site for Cathay City, a new headquarters for Cathay Pacific. |
