| Abstract | The passenger terminal at Chek Lap Kok airport is visible from the North Lantau Expressway and by sea, it can take a while to recognize. The scale is so big that it registers initially, not as a building but as a landform. This effect is emphasized by the gentle convex curve of the skyline from north to south and the even longer concave curve from east to west. |
