| Abstract | Maoming 300,000-ton Ethylene Project is the main construction project in the 8th Five-Year-Plan (FYP) period, with a total investment of 16 billion Renminbi (RMB) and an area of 350 hectares. This is a large petrochemical base in southern China. Automatization and simplified administration are necessary due to endless production work and the hazardous environment of accommodating inflammable materials. Therefore, the management of production and administration department should pay attention to office automatization (OA), including communications, computer information management and security monitoring system. |
