| Abstract | In Hong Kong, the development of family intervention programs for schizophrenic patients is still in its infancy. Although family intervention programs have been introduced to hospital settings and various non-government agencies, little effort is made to evaluate its applicability within the local context. The purpose of the article is to review various models of family intervention and to examine factors that may influence the practice of family therapy in Hong Kong. |
