| Abstract | Asian companies are turning their gaze westwards, this time towards a well-heralded event - the birth of the euro, or the single European currency. Although some Hong kong companies are aware of the consequences of the introduction of the single European currency, not all are taking full advantage of the opportunities the euro brings. The article talks about several measures the companies can implement to ease their operations during the period of setting euro-compliant software up and running by 1999. |
