| Abstract | Busy expediting the progress of telephone service in the province, the Shandong Posts and Telecommunications Administration (PTA) has never forgotten data communications -- the crux of the whole informatization process in China. The article traces the growth in data communications service provision in Shandong, and introduces the launch of Shandong Public Information Service Bureau and the construction of a network platform for the 169 Jinan Infoport. |
