| Abstract | High rents and overheads in Central and other prime locations are forcing developers to the east side of Hong Kong Island. Areas like Quarry Bay, North Point and Chai Wan are fast becoming important commercial and industrial districts. Taikoo in Quarry Bay, for instance, is currently being transformed. The article features the DCH Commerical Centre, one of Taikoo's newest buildings which is an office complex being developed by CITIC Pacific. |
