| Abstract | The Mighty Servant 3, one of a fleet of 15 semi-submersible heavy-lift vessels operated by Belgium-based Dockwise NV, used its float-on/float-off procedure to load and discharge a 265-metre floating dock earlier in 1997. The loading was done in Taranto, Italy and the discharging at a port in the Shanghai-Nantong area of China, after an 8200-mile journey via the Suez Canal. Also, the article lists the contracts for Dockwise. |
